
Qiang Liu
CEO and CCO
Mr. Qiang Liu is founder and CEO of Concordia Boston Capital Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary CBC Securities Inc. He has over 20 years of experiences in the financial and security industry, as well as being an actuary.
Prior to founding Concordia Boston Capital and CBCS, Mr. Liu was financial market specialist at Federal Reserve Bank of Boston supervising and regulating Systemically Important Financial Institutions (SIFIs). Prior to working at Federal Reserve, he worked at several global or national financial institutes.
At the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Mr. Liu is a member of joint government team representing the United States to work with Euro Union and other international supervisory counter bodies for creating international capital standard for Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions (G-SIFIs).
Mr. Liu holds professional designations such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA), Member of American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He is also FINRA Series 66, 7, 79 and 24 licensed.
At his leisure time, Mr. Liu likes to spend time with his family and two kids, and occasionally teaches in Boston University as Adjunct Professor.
